The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) will host a public meeting on Monday, April 16, 2018 to present the Proposed Plan for the Camp Butner Formerly Used Defense Site (FUDs). The public is invited to attend the public meeting to learn more about the Proposed Plan, which identifies the USACE-recommended remedial alternative to address hazards from unexploded ordnance associated with the Camp Butner FUDs.

The public meeting will also provide a summary of the results of the remedial investigation conducted on munitions response sites within the Camp Butner FUDs and the remedial alternatives evaluated in feasibility study. Members of the public are encouraged to review the project documents and submit comments on the Proposed Plan, which can be found in the project’s Administrative Record at the South Granville County Library, 1550 S. Campus Drive, Creedmoor, NC 27522.
A 30-day public comment period will run from March 26 to April 26, 2018. Written comments can be send to the mailing address below or by email: email@example.com no later than April 26, 2018. Mailed letters must be postmarked by April 26, 2018.
