Community Events
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee and Town Staff put on another successful Pictures with Santa event this year at Gazebo Park on Friday, November 30th. We had a great turn out of children and families taking their picture with Santa and receiving their choice of frame and complimentary toys and goodies to take home.
On Thursday, December 13th, the Town hosted the Annual Senior Christmas Social at the Sports Arena. This event is for the people who walk at the Sports Arena in the mornings, seniors and all ages. The Town provides breakfast for these individuals who are choosing a consistent and healthier lifestyle by walking in the mornings. This year, breakfast came from Biscuitville along with fruit and pastry items, coffee and juice. If you are interested in this event, you do not have to be a senior but you must be a walker.
