Approved resolution to award retiring PBS Officer Patrick Bailey his badge, service sidearm and fire helmet. Officer Bailey is retiring on February 29.
Several NCDOT regional construction projects were presented that the Town would like to include on a future State Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP). The projects would realign several intersections for better traffic flow, upgrade roads to improve vehicular, bike and pedestrian safety, and widen I-85. Although projects may not be considered or funded in the near future, placing them in the TIP gets them listed and identifies them as priorities by our local communities.
The Council Meeting room has upgraded some of the AV equipment allowing for better picture resolution of PowerPoint presentations and videos.
The Town Attorney received the deed for the Umstead Correction Property.
