Celebrate the 75th Anniversary of one of our Nation’s largest WWII training camps, Camp Butner, on September 22nd & 23rd. Opened in 1942, Camp Butner trained over 40,000 troops on a 40,000-acre military training facility for combat in the European and Pacific Theaters.
The Camp Butner 75th Anniversary Committee has collaborated with the Town of Butner to celebrate the occasion.
