WYNNGATE STREET ASSESSMENT INVOICES

Based on petitions received by the Town of Butner from property owners within the Wynngate Subdivision for street improvements and maintenance, the Town of Butner agreed to make the necessary improvements and take ownership of the roads at cost and assess property owners over the next five years. Now that the improvements are complete, the assessments will begin. NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS
FOR PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE

Butner Town Council believes the community is best served when there is a diverse representation of citizens on the Town’s boards and committees. The Town of Butner is accepting applications for vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee. This Committee advises staff on recreational activities and facility planning, and assists staff with seasonal activities for the community throughout the year. In order to address all types of recreational activities, applicants with interests in competitive and non-competitive activities are encouraged to apply. The Committee meets every other month on the second Monday at Town Hall, as needed. Open for application are three (3) seats with 4-year terms expiring in 2021. Butner residency is preferred.
