The I-85 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project will require the closure of the intersection of Central Avenue and A Street in Butner for approximately 30 days, beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, July 6.
Detour signs will be posted along Central Avenue, and message boards will be placed on I-85 to help direct motorists. Please plan for additional travel time and use alternate routes when possible.
Thank you for your patience as this important infrastructure project is completed. Every effort will be made to finish the work as quickly as possible and restore normal traffic flow.
