As spring gets into full swing and vegetation begins to grow more quickly, this is a friendly reminder regarding property maintenance within the Town of Butner. During this time of year, grass, weeds, and other natural vegetation can grow rapidly and may require more frequent upkeep.
In accordance with Town ordinance, grass, noxious weeds, and natural growth must be maintained below 12 inches in height within 200 feet of an occupied residence or commercial building. Regular maintenance of properties helps prevent nuisance conditions, supports neighborhood safety, and ensures our community continues to look clean, welcoming, and well cared for.
