Every year, Town staff and the Parks & Recreation Advisory Committee invite children to come hunt for eggs and treats, and meet the Easter Bunny! Children can have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. For more information, please contact Mallory Richard at (919) 298-2654.

Annually, a 4th of July fireworks display is held at Lake Holt. This event is co-sponsored by the Town of Butner, City of Creedmoor, Granville County, and the State of North Carolina. The event is free and open to the public.
