Butner Summer Festival

The Butner Community Association sponsors an annual street dance and festival called the Butner Summer Festival, formally known as the "Butner Chicken Pickin', the first weekend in June. A street dance is held the Friday before the main event, typically in the parking lot of LifeStyle Fitness on West C Street. The festival on Saturday features a car show, food & beverage vendors, craft & retail vendors, live entertainment, and a chicken tasting competition.
