Cedar Creek Gallery

Cedar Creek began as a studio and sales space for two potters. After over 40 years, it now houses more than ten potters and glassblowers in private, on-site studios. Family owned and operated, the gallery offers for sale the work of over 200 craftspeople. Annually, the gallery hosts a pottery & glass festival with various demonstrations and events. They also host a holiday open house in late November for those looking for special gifts for their friends and family.

Lake Holt was impounded in 1956 to supply water to the Department of Health and Human Services and other local governments. The lake is approximately 385 acres in size. There is a tackle shop, snack bar and restrooms. There are boat ramps with parking. In addition, there is a picnic shelter with picnic tables overlooking the lake. There is a fishing pier from which to fish, a snack bar and grill, a tackle shop, and a dock from which to launch boats. In May 2017, the Town installed a canoe/kayak launch.

Founded in 2013, Vino Oasi is the newest event center in southern Granville County. Nestled among Cabernet Sauvignon and Seyval Blanc vineyards, two ponds and walking trails on the 95-acre property, the barn provides the perfect setting for your personal, family, non-profit, or corporate event. Vino Oasi is located off Route 15 South and Hester Road.
