John W. Wimbush Recognized for Receiving Human Relations Commission Award

Council Member Jordon, who also serves on the Human Relations Commission, recognized Mr. Wimbush for receiving the Martin Luther King, Jr. Award in Memory of Reverend Robert O. Blackwell:  “Building Bridges to Better Understanding” on January 17, 2022. This annual award is given by the Human Relations Commission for dedication and services to others in the community. Mr. Wimbush has served on the Butner Advisory Council, Butner Town Council, County Planning Board, and Granville Health Systems Foundation among others.
