Parks & Recreation
Providing active and passive recreational opportunities for residents and visitors is of great importance to the Town of Butner. The Town currently owns nearly 50 acres of land designated for public parks and recreation. The Town boasts indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, fishing and boating activities on Lake Holt, game lands for bow hunters to use, Greenway and walking trails, as well as open space for general use and enjoyment.
