Fingerprinting Service

Butner Public Safety will offer fingerprinting services Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. This will include either rolled ink fingerprints or AFIS fingerprint submission, depending on what type the citizen needs. 

Butner residents shall receive fingerprinting services free of charge. To be eligible, the citizen must present a valid state identification that shows the current address to be in the Town of Butner incorporated limits. 

Non-residents shall pay a $10.00 fee up to two (2) cards, plus $5.00 for each additional card.

Fingerprinting of juveniles, for identification purposes only, shall receive the service free of charge and shall be completed with traditional rolled ink fingerprints.

BPS will only accept cash, postal money order, or cashier’s check made payable to the Town of Butner.
