Veterans Day

Butner was once a military town and WWII training camp, Camp Butner. A ceremony celebrating and honoring our veterans is held annually at the Soldiers Memorial Sports Arena on November 11th. Entertainment is provided by a school band and a key note speaker is selected from the community. The Town of Butner and the Military Holiday Committee invite you to attend this special event!
