Updated Food Truck Regulations

The Town of Butner is excited to announce that we have updated regulations on food trucks.  Food trucks are now allowed outside of Town sponsored events on commercial properties with a permit.  Food trucks are allowed 12 temporary use permits per lot in a calendar year.  Food trucks will need applicable permits from Granville-Vance Public Health and any other required approvals.  Food trucks may only operate between the hours of 6:00 a.m. to midnight and must be removed from all permitted locations during the hours when they are not permitted to be in operation, and may not be stored, parked, or left overnight on any public street or sidewalk.
