Construction of Town Hall

Locating Town operations to a converted residence, 600 Central Avenue, was intended to be a temporary location until a new Town Hall could be built. Town staff worked with an architect to design the new building. Providing residents with the best service possible was high on the list for this new location. South Granville Water and Sewer Authority (SGWASA) wanted to find a larger location and expand its operations. Town Council and SGWASA worked out an agreement and a floor plan that would be more efficient for SGWASA’s operations and entered into a long term lease as part of the Town Hall design. The agreement and design has allowed for the Town and SGWASA to provide better customer service and helped keep the operation costs as low as possible.
